1) try pump your petrol during early morning, or night time or after raining when the moment it is high humidity. avoid refill your petrol on hot sun weather. simple physics - substance contracts when cold, expands when hot, same to liquid petrolium. thus same amount you pump, night-time and noon-time may be different.
2) don't pump full tank if not going long distance trip. load leads to FC consumption.
3) do away whatever gabage and unneccessary items in your car cabin and boot to reduce weight load on the car.
4) air-cond contributes sufficient cold to you will be enough. too cold will lead to more workload from compressor, indirectly affects FC. ideal is around 25 c.
5) check your tyre presure at least once a month. avoid over-inflate or under-inflate.
6) before start-off your journey, plan for proper direction and route to go.
7) make sure periodical service is done for your car to maintain the optimum working-state of the car.
8) last, most important, your right foot. avoid sudden acceleration and sudden braking type of driving style.
